Electricity (and gas, if applicable) is an essential part of renting, and we manage these utilities in collaboration with you. Our company exclusively works with PČE, which offers the most competitive tariffs on the market. To ensure you pay the lowest possible rates, our goal is to transfer the energy accounts directly into your name under our preferential partner agreement. If energy accounts remained in our company’s name, the rates would be higher.

PČE processes transfers relatively quickly when it’s done within their system. However, when switching from another supplier to PČE, the speed depends on the cooperation of the previous supplier.

Rest assured, we handle all the paperwork for you, so you don’t need to worry about anything. We’ll guide you through the process step by step and explain what to expect.

I Am a New Tenant

Congratulations on your move! We understand that moving involves a lot of unpacking and organizing. To make things easier for you, we’ll take care of setting up your energy accounts.

What do we need?

The only thing we’ll require from you is your electronic signature. Whether we’re transferring energy from the property owner, the previous tenant, or our company (VITOM), we use electronic forms signed via Signi. If you’ve signed our Sublease Agreement before, the process will feel familiar—it’s quick and easy.

You’ll receive instructions by email on how to complete the signature. The Signi link will be sent to your email and as an SMS on the agreed date. All you need is a computer or phone and a few minutes of your time.

What types of transfers might occur?

Energy transfers can vary depending on the situation, which may influence the process timeline. Here’s an overview of what to expect:

From Owner to Tenant

If your payment sheet includes rent, electricity, and possibly gas, you’re likely the first tenant moving into the property. In this case, the energy accounts will be transferred from the property owner to you under PČE. If the property owner’s previous energy supplier isn’t PČE, this can extend the process.

Some property owners prefer not to switch to a new supplier and may keep the accounts in their name (or ours). In such cases, you’ll pay for utilities as part of your payment sheet, and no transfer will occur. Annual billing will then be handled by us based on the meter readings taken at the time of handover.

How will it work?

→ After you move in, we’ll contact you to initiate the energy transfer and sign: § Čestné prohlášení / A Declaration of Honor § Plná moc na přepis energií / A Power of Attorney for the energy transfer

§ Smlouva s PČE / An Agreement with PČE

→ You’ll continue paying deposits to us via your payment sheet until the transfer is complete.

→ Once you receive an email from PČE with a Cover Letter detailing your deposits, please forward it to us. We’ll adjust your payment sheet to avoid double payments.

→ After the transfer, you’ll start paying deposits directly to PČE. Using the final invoice from the previous supplier, we’ll issue a final billing that reflects any overpayments or underpayments.

→ From then on, all matters related to utilities (invoices, deposits, etc.) will be handled directly with PČE via info@prvniceskaenergie.cz or +420 800 430 430.

Electronic Signature Instructions:

1. A Signi link will be sent to your email and as an SMS.

2. Click SIGN, and you’ll receive a confirmation code via SMS.

3. Download the signed documents from the application.

And we’re done!

The entire process typically takes 1–2 months, depending on the cooperation of previous suppliers.

Tenant-to-Tenant Transfer

This is the simplest type of transfer, where the energy accounts are moved directly within PČE—from the previous tenant to you, or from our company to you. This process is very fast. Once you receive the Cover Letter from PČE detailing your deposits, you’ll begin paying them directly, and any outstanding amounts for the first few days in your new home will be resolved in the final billing.

How will it work?

→ Po vašem nastěhování vás oslovíme ohledně přepisu energií a podepíšeme:

Čestné prohlášení / A Declaration of Honor
Plná moc na přepis energií / A Power of Attorney for the energy transfer
Smlouva s PČE / An Agreement with PČE
Předávací protokol PČE / Handover protocol of the PČE with recorded conditions from the handover of the property

→ Once you receive an email from PČE with the Cover Letter detailing the deposits, please forward it to us.

→ After the transfer, you will start paying deposits directly to the supplier, PČE.

→ In the final billing from PČE, any outstanding payments for the first days in your new home will be reflected.

→ From now on, all necessary matters (invoices, deposits, etc.) will be handled directly with the supplier at info@prvniceskaenergie.cz or by phone at +420 800 430 430.

Electronic Signature Instructions:

1. A Signi link will be sent to your email and as an SMS.

2. Click SIGN, and you’ll receive a confirmation code via SMS.

3. Download the signed documents from the application.

And we’re done!

The entire process typically takes 10–15 days.

If you choose not to have the energy accounts in your name, they’ll remain under VITOM, but the rates will be higher due to our company tariff.

I Am a Departing Tenant

You’re moving to a new home, and the energy transfer is one of the last steps we need to complete together.

When will the transfer occur?

Once we receive the handover protocol, which you’ll fill out with our technician during the property handover, we’ll initiate the transfer to the new tenant. If no new tenant moves in within 10 working days of your departure, the accounts will be transferred to us.

This process typically takes no longer than a month, but it’s often completed much sooner.

What do we need?

We use electronic forms signed via Signi, as you did when the energy accounts were transferred to your name at the start of your tenancy. The process is the same, but the documents will differ.

You’ll receive instructions by email on how to complete the signature, and the Signi link will be sent to your email and as an SMS on the agreed date. All you need is a computer or phone and a few minutes of your time.

What documents will you be signing?

During the energy transfer process, you will be signing:

→ A Declaration of Honor / Čestné prohlášení

→ A joint document between you and the new recipient, and

→ The PČE Handover Protocol, which will include recorded energy readings from the protocol completed with our technician during the property handover.

Electronic Signature Instructions:

1. A Signi link will be sent to your email and as an SMS.

2. Click SIGN, and you’ll receive a confirmation code via SMS.

3. Download the signed documents from the application.

And we’re done!

From now on, everything will depend on how quickly PČE processes the change.

Energy Billing

Final billing after the transfer is issued directly by PČE based on the data from the handover protocol, i.e., the meter readings recorded during the handover. Even if the transfer takes longer, you won’t lose your money. Any overpayments will be refunded to you by PČE.

Pozn.: If the energy accounts were never transferred to your name, and you’ve been paying us via the payment sheet, we’ll handle the billing. After processing actual consumption data for your rental period, we’ll send you the billing along with any refunds or payment requests for outstanding amounts.

Important!

We handle all formalities on your behalf. We kindly ask for your cooperation by electronically signing the documents we send you. Please don’t cancel or terminate your contract with PČE, as this unnecessarily complicates and prolongs the process.

The entire process typically takes about a month.

In rare cases, we may end our partnership with the property owner upon your departure. If this happens, we’ll need your cooperation to fully terminate the contract with PČE. If this is necessary, we’ll notify you in advance.
