Home care in a nutshell:
→ Ventilate regularly. This will prevent the formation of mould, which can make living uncomfortable and cause health problems. Learn how to ventilate properly.
→ Once a year, such as during a big Christmas or spring cleaning, it's a great idea to check the condition of your home and assess whether anything should be repaired and possibly reported as an insurance claim. This will avoid any inconvenience when you move to a new home in the future.
→ Use appliances as instructed and clean them regularly. If you didn't get instructions on how to use the appliances when you handed over your home, it won't be hard to find them on the internet. We've never had a case where we didn't find something. Manuals are a barrier to immediate use for many of us, but they often contain a lot of gadgets you might not even know the appliance can do.
→ The fire alarm will also come in for a regular check once in a while. If you hear an annoying beeping noise in your apartment, it's probably just the alarm, and you just need to change the battery.
