Before you get started on the finishing touches and care of your new home...

Are you planning any improvements to make your home more livable? Please let us know.
Before you get started

There are some adaptations that we don't recommend in properties, and there are several reasons for this:

1. The possibility of damage to soundproofed walls

2. Violation of the established standards of the house

3. Disturbance of the distribution systems (water, electrical, ...)

4. The owner may have his own future plans for the property

5. It would be very difficult to restore the property to its original state

We want you to have a nice life and live in a home exactly as you want it. However, it is always better to check first whether your intention is right in the eyes of the owner. Especially if it involves drilling, taping, demolition and other irreversible changes.

How best to care for your home?

We use Tierra Verde products ourselves, which we would like to recommend to you. We have a special program with Tierra Verde for our clients where you can save 15% off your order. Please take care of the property entrusted to you as if it were your own. Because we also make sure that our homes are cared for, you will avoid any inconvenience the moment you move into your new home.

The same rules apply to you as for a normal rental property. Thus, as a subtenant, you are also obliged to repair anything that breaks in the apartment at your own expense, up to the maximum monetary limit according to Government Regulation No. 308/2015 Coll.

A number of damages and accidents can be reported to the insurance company you have contracted with us. Take advantage of this option and simply report any damage.

What needs special attention:

1. Wooden, veneered floors and furnishings

In order to keep equipment, especially floors that are difficult to replace and repair, in excellent condition, it is necessary to give them a little care. There are special cleaners

for floors as well as caring oil coatings that can help keep your home looking or looking beautiful. Clean & Care products, for example, are highly recommended,

NACASA floor soap and NAPLANA ReNew nourishing emulsion.

Home care in a nutshell:

→ Ventilate regularly. This will prevent the formation of mould, which can make living uncomfortable and cause health problems. Learn how to ventilate properly.

→ Once a year, such as during a big Christmas or spring cleaning, it's a great idea to check the condition of your home and assess whether anything should be repaired and possibly reported as an insurance claim. This will avoid any inconvenience when you move to a new home in the future.

→ Use appliances as instructed and clean them regularly. If you didn't get instructions on how to use the appliances when you handed over your home, it won't be hard to find them on the internet. We've never had a case where we didn't find something. Manuals are a barrier to immediate use for many of us, but they often contain a lot of gadgets you might not even know the appliance can do.

→ The fire alarm will also come in for a regular check once in a while. If you hear an annoying beeping noise in your apartment, it's probably just the alarm, and you just need to change the battery.
